Returning Players Lead The Way

The Prairie Hawks have started off with a solid football season, with a start of 4-1. While some outstanding returning starters are guiding the team to victories.

Star players this year have been leading the team to victory. Coach Bliss said, “We have a lot of returning starters compared to last years team, last year we had a lot of question marks, but this year we felt more confident.”

Our running back Keegan Simmons is one of those returning starters. Simmons was the 2nd leading rusher in the state for 4a and second leading scorer. He is off to an amazing start this year with only 3 games he has over 500 yards.

Bliss also commented that Tyler Graham, Zach Swarts, and Izaak Lindgren are all performing phenomenally this season.

But this year the Hawks have already been plagued with injuries.  Kian Davis (running back) tore his ACL in one of the first games along with Jayce Andreg and Jake Degroot. But we have no need to think that these dilemmas will be stopping Prairie. Coach said they already have players stepping up and taking lead. So we should expect nothing less than the best from the Hawks this year.
